Vlčí hora
summit · 892 m · Krušné hory
An 892 m summit on the eastern Krušné hory plateau near Dlouhá Louka, wooded top on rolling upland moor and meadow country.
Vlčí hora — “wolf hill” — rises only gently above the eastern Krušné hory plateau near the mountain village of Dlouhá Louka: up here the range is a rolling upland of spruce, moor and meadow rather than a line of dramatic summits, and the hill reads more as the high point of a long walk than as a climb of its own. Its neighbours along the plateau rim — Stropník, Loučná and Studenec — all top 850 m, and the southern edge drops steeply away to the coal basin far below.
