Lovoš
summit · České středohoří
A 570 m basalt cone above Lovosice with the only summit tourist hut in the České středohoří — refreshments at weekends and a wide view over the Labe valley, Milešovka, Říp and Hazmburk.
Lovoš is one of the most distinctive cones of the lower Labe country, rising directly above Lovosice. The summit has held a tourist hut since 1892, when the Lovosice mountain club built the first one; today’s Chata Lovoš is the only summit hut in the whole České středohoří, serving drinks and simple refreshments at weekends and holidays. The view runs over the Labe valley and the Porta Bohemica gorge to Milešovka, Říp and the Hazmburk castle silhouette.
