Křížová hora

The southern end of the wooded Dlouhý vrch massif above Žitenice — its rock edge carries Laffitova vyhlídka, a viewpoint with a bench looking over Litoměřice country, Radobýl, Hazmburk and Říp.

Křížová hora — locally also Křížový vrch — is a wooded tephrite hill about 4 km northeast of Litoměřice, the southern tip of the Dlouhý vrch massif that runs five and a half kilometres north to south. The summit itself is forested, but on the rocks just below it opens Laffitova vyhlídka: a ledge with a simple wooden seat and a wide view south and west — Žitenice directly below, the Litoměřice orchards, Radobýl, the ruin of Hazmburk and Říp standing alone out in the Polabí. The shortest way up is the blue-marked trail from Skalice near Žitenice (about 3.4 km, partly along the Hibsch geological nature trail).
