Víťova rozhledna

lookout tower · České středohoří

A 21 m stone-and-timber lookout tower (2004) on a 616 m knoll near Náčkovice — a circle of northern Bohemia from Teplice and Ústí nad Labem to Ještěd.

The tower stands on an unnamed 616 m knoll near the hamlet of Náčkovice on the Verneřice plateau, built in 2003 and opened in summer 2004 — a telecommunications mast dressed by architect Martin Gabriel in natural stone and timber, with the viewing gallery at 8.5 m. The name comes from its builder. The view is a wide sweep of northern Bohemia: Teplice, Ústí nad Labem, Roudnice and Mělník on the Labe, and Ještěd on the horizon.
