Třtěnské stráně

Třtěnské stráně is a long white slope of bare marl above the village of Třtěno, protected for its steppe flora: feather grass silvering in the wind, sea pink, flax and a supporting cast of dry-grassland specialists that survive nowhere in the surrounding fields. Like the other “white slopes” of the lower Středohoří it peaks in May, when the bloom turns the hillside into the best botany lesson in the region — and it pairs naturally with the Kamenná slunce just across the valley.
