Plešivec

A 509 m basalt dome above the Elbe valley northwest of Litoměřice — a bouldery top with a wide viewpoint, protected as a natural monument.

Plešivec, also called Ledový vrch (“ice hill”), is a basalt dome about 4 km northwest of Litoměřice, protected as a natural monument. The summit is a heap of bare basalt blocks — there is no built viewpoint, just the stones, so watch your footing — and the view from them takes in the Elbe gate at Porta Bohemica and the panorama of the central České středohoří. The nature trail from Hlinná towards Kamýk passes over it.
