Kondrac

village · Podblanicko

A farming village under the north side of Velký Blaník, with a Romanesque church of St. Bartholomew and a decent pub for hikers coming off the hill.

Kondrac lies in the fields on the northern approach to Velký Blaník. Its church of St. Bartholomew is Romanesque — a rarity this deep in the countryside — and the village pub is a decent stop for a late lunch or a beer on the way down from the hill.
