A wooded 583 m hillock between Zdislavice and Trhový Štěpánov, topped by Kalamajka — a 26 m wooden lookout tower from 2021 on the site of a 1931 KČT tower.
Javornická hůra is the modest high point of the rolling country between Zdislavice, Javorník and Trhový Štěpánov. The Vlašim branch of the KČT put a simple wooden lookout on it in 1931; that tower collapsed in 1956, and the hill waited until 2021 for its successor — Kalamajka, a 26 m timber tower on a concrete base, with 117 steps to the platform. The structure stands year-round, but the cabin at the top is unlocked by arrangement: the key is lent by the surrounding villages (Javorník, Chlum, Zdislavice, Rataje, Kladruby, Tichonice), so call ahead if the view matters to your plan.
