Dobříš is the town where the Hřebeny ridge meets the Příbram road, and its landmark is the rococo château of the Colloredo-Mansfeld family — pink-and-cream wings around a courtyard, a formal French garden with fountains, and an English park behind. The family got the estate back in restitution and runs the château for visitors. For walkers the town works as a gateway: routes onto the wooded Hřebeny start at its edge, and buses (plus a branch railway) connect to Prague.
