Černolické skály

A group of quartzite crags above the village of Černolice — a traditional climbing school for Prague mountaineers, with an open view over the Berounka lowland.

The Černolické skály are a cluster of quartzite crags rising straight behind the village of Černolice, on the eastern tail of the Hřebeny ridge. Prague climbers have used them as a training ground for over a century — the faces are short but steep, and on a fine weekend you will usually see ropes on them. For walkers the reward is the open view from the top of the rocks across the Berounka lowland towards Prague.
