Bílý mlýn

The ruin of a water mill first mentioned in 1432 between Kbelnice and Zebín — it ground until a fire in 1937 and was never rebuilt; a KČT junction still carries its name.

Bílý mlýn — the White Mill — worked the stream between Kbelnice and Zebín from 1432, with a sizeable farm attached and, in the 20th century, a bakery. It burned down in 1937 and was never repaired; what stands today is a quiet ruin at the foot of Zebín’s meadows. The KČT junction “U Bílého Mlýna” keeps the name on the map, and marked trails from Jičín to the Prachov side of the Český ráj pass right by it.
