A 22 km solo line through the left-bank Středohoří. The Bořeň rock fang above Bílina comes first, then empty farm hills to the steppe cone of Milá.

Expect to do your own navigating on this one. Outside the first and last climbs the way runs on unmarked farm lanes, and in the middle of the route you meet hardly any hikers at all. The biggest climb comes in the first hour. Everything after it is quiet.

From Bílina station the way passes through the Kyselka spa quarter and climbs Bořeň right away. The climb is short and steep, and from the top you see the whole line of the Krušné hory. Back down, the route turns south into a belt of low farm hills around Chouč, Lužice, Dobrčice and Skršín. The only company there is deer and the wind turbines on the horizon.

km 19.38

The last hill is Milá, the bell-shaped cone that stands alone in the fields. In early March the first pheasant’s eye can already be flowering on the south slope. From the summit you can see the cone country around Louny to the east. A short descent to the Bělušice stop ends the day.
