A 29.1 km walk south from Nový Bor — the Sloup rock castle, the Svojkov rocks and Česká Lípa, ending at the Zahrádky chateau park.

An evening bus from Česká Lípa gets you to Nový Bor for the night — the glass town under Klíč makes an easy base, and arriving late costs nothing because the walking starts fresh in the morning.

· km 3.28

The first goal is the best: Sloup v Čechách, where a free-standing sandstone block carries seven centuries of carving — rock castle, Swedish siege, grand hermitage — and repays the entry fee with stairways through the middle of the stone. From Sloup the route continues through the Svojkov rocks, sandstone overhangs and a small chapel among the pines, before settling into easier country towards Česká Lípa. The town is the practical middle of the day — shops, pubs, the moated Lipý castle site by the river if a short detour appeals.

· km 6.93

The last leg follows the Robeč valley south out of town to Zahrádky, where the walk ends at the chateau village on the Peklo edge — buses run from here, and the Peklo gorge itself is the natural extension if legs remain.
