A 22.1 km late-autumn walk through the empty hop-and-forest country between Měcholupy and Konětopy on the Džbán's western edge.

Pick a grey November day for this one and manage your expectations: the country between Žatec and the Džbán plateau is land that tourism forgot, and that turns out to be the appeal. From the Měcholupy station the route works east through Holedeček and the woods around Výrov, ridge and valley in easy rhythm — the forests are the reward here, oak and pine with nobody in them.

The honest note: the villages along the way feel half-deserted, more gates than shops, so carry your own food and water — there is no reliable stop the whole day. The route ends at the little Konětopy rail halt on the Rakovník–Louny line, one platform in the fields, which somehow fits the day.
