The ruin of an Empire-style cemetery chapel of St Václav (1835) on the site of a village wiped out in the Hussite wars, between Encovany and Hrušovany.
On the low hilltop of Prachová north of Polepy stood a medieval village that vanished in the Hussite wars and was never rebuilt. What draws the eye today is younger: an Empire-style chapel of St Václav, built in 1835 by the cemetery that served Encovany and Hrušovany, abandoned after 1945 and now an open ruin — perimeter walls, the tower, and two arches of the fallen vault. It is protected as a cultural monument, though listed among the endangered ones, and its silhouette over the fields is one of the quiet memorable moments of walking this in-between country.
