A 617 m meadow summit above the village of Javory — the highest point of the north-eastern České středohoří, with open views across the hills to the flat rim of Děčínský Sněžník.
Javorský vrch is the highest point of the Ústecké středohoří, the north-eastern part of the České středohoří between Ústí nad Labem and Děčín. Unlike the wooded cones further south its summit is open — meadows and pastures above the village of Javory — so the view comes for free: the middle Elbe hills all around, and to the north the long flat edge of Děčínský Sněžník.
Marked trails reach it from several sides; the shortest approach climbs from Jílové via Javory.

The summer rematch for a fogged-out winter visit: over the meadow top of Javorský vrch to Jílové, then steeply up Děčínský Sněžník — the largest table mountain in the country — and down to the Elbe at Děčín.
