Błędne skały

A rock labyrinth on the Polish side of the Góry Stołowe — a one-way squeeze through corridors sometimes shoulder-wide, between mushroom rocks at 850 m.

Błędne skały — the “Errant Rocks” — are the compact masterpiece of Poland’s Góry Stołowe national park: a plateau edge at about 850 m where erosion left a maze of mushroom-capped blocks with corridors between them that narrow, in places, to a sideways shuffle with the rucksack held in front. A marked one-way circuit threads the maze (small entry fee, timed entries in high season), and the filmmakers of the Narnia series knew what they were doing when they shot here.

The site sits right against the Czech border above Kudowa-Zdrój, which makes it a natural first act of a crossing into the Broumovsko — the trails continue north towards Pasterka and the Broumovské stěny.
