A 22.1 km late-autumn walk through the empty hop-and-forest country between Měcholupy and Konětopy on the Džbán's western edge.

The country between Žatec and the Džbán plateau gets almost no visitors, and that is the point of this walk. From the Měcholupy station the route goes east through Holedeček and the woods around Výrov, over easy ridges and valleys. The forests are the best part here, oak and pine with nobody in them.

To be honest, the villages along the way feel half-deserted, and there are no shops to count on. Carry your own food and water. There is no reliable stop the whole day. The route ends at the little Konětopy rail halt on the Rakovník–Louny line, one platform in the fields.
